Being an expat, traveling often and being a thoughtful *cough*pretentious*cough* artist has lead me to a life in which there isn’t a particular place I can call home. I therefore have an ‘inner room’ of sorts— one that lives in my mind, and in which my mind lives in at times. I fill it with bits and pieces, mementos and souvenirs— memories, sounds, songs, images and stories I play back in my head to feel at home, regardless of where I am.
In the coming weeks I’ll be sharing some of the items that form the decoration of my inner room. Some of this stuff is pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
